L'esprit Perdu

$5.00

L’esprit Perdu follows the ethereal journey of the Wanderer trekking through a remote landscape in search of a fabled ancient temple said to grant exhilarating peace and contentment.

The music is both inspired by and quotes two pieces written by Claude Debussy: “Estampes I. Pagodes” and “La Cathédrale Engloutie.”

This album has been an exploration and experimentation of my creative process, and a reintroduction to composing after needing to step away for a few years. “L’esprit Perdu” is French for “The Lost Spirit,” referring to the Wanderer searching for spiritual peace. With the music drawing heavily from Debussy, a French composer, naming the album in French was a way to tie the ideas together.

Runtime: 40:54 (plus bonus track without SFX)

*Note: Upon purchase, you will receive an email with a download link for the album. The link is valid for 24 hours.
